Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: February 11, 2026

LineCheck is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML elements for proper document structure and screen reader navigation
  • ARIA attributes on interactive components (dialogs, menus, tooltips, tabs)
  • Keyboard navigation support for all interactive features
  • Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards (4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for UI components)
  • Skip-to-content links for keyboard users
  • Responsive design that works at 200% browser zoom
  • Support for reduced motion preferences via prefers-reduced-motion
  • Form labels and error messages associated with their respective fields
  • Alt text on images and meaningful link text

Known Limitations

While we strive for full conformance, some areas may have limitations:

  • Some complex data tables (recipe cost breakdowns) may require additional screen reader context
  • PDF exports may not be fully accessible; we recommend using the on-screen views
  • Drag-and-drop interactions (prep list reordering) have keyboard alternatives but may not announce position changes
